Jessica at Airlie

Airlie in the Spring is AMAZING.  The flowers were in full bloom the day we did Jessica’s Bridal portrait.  The Gardens stay open late for Spring bloom and we took full advantage of the beautiful light and the gorgeous surroundings.  We loved the new butterfly sculpture in the butterfly house.  It was especially meaningful because Jess and Justin were planning a butterfly release at their wedding in honor of their Grandparents.  Enjoy !

Carly at The Bellamy

I have been so excited to finally blog these photos of Carly Duea at The Bellamy Mansion in Downtown Wilmington, NC.  The day was beautiful.  The dress and veil were amazing and the location was stunning.  We wanted to take advantage of the veil Carly had.  It has been in her family for several generations and it was my favorite part of the shoot.  Carly’s mom was moved to tears during parts of the shoot.  Carly was so radiant that it made our job enjoyable to say the least ! We had fun.  Thank you !

We will be blogging her wedding soon !

Our Year in Pictures Continued

Wow- we had a great year and wanted to share “Our Year In Pictures” , part 2.  Thank you wonderful brides, grooms, mothers, fathers, relatives , friends and vendors that expressed their sincere “thank yous” and appreciation.  We truly love what we do.  We are wedding story tellers.  We get emotionally involved with what we are seeing.  The dress, the lighting, the emotions, the beautiful food & flowers , the dancing, and of course the love & laughter.  How could you NOT love our job?!

We have an exciting 2011  ! We are thankful to those whom have chosen us already, vendors whom have passed along our kudos,  and those whom have helped us by spreading the word.  Best wishes to everyone in 2011.

Jen

I could not wait to blog these pictures.  Sometimes a bride chooses a look that just suits her and it comes through in the photos.  Jen had her bridal portrait done at Fort Fisher.  She wore a very simple, elegant, vintage looking dress and the most fabulous hot pink shoes.  When she stepped out of the car with those shoes, dress and lipstick to match, I was thrilled.  We had a great time, especially with the shoes.  Thank you Jen !  Wedding photos to come soon !

We loved the shoes !

Jen was so easy going the whole time

Love this pose !
