Over Thanksgiving we had the opportunity to photograph Kelly & Mike.  Why we were photographing them was a reason we have heard often… “I don’t love my wedding pictures that our other photographer took, I wish you had taken them.”  Luckily for us , Kelly had felt the same way about her original photographers photos of her wedding in April of this year.  Kelly called us a few months before Thanksgiving in hopes that we would be able to help her.

She told me her original pictures from another photographer lacked feeling, glamour and emotion.  Not to mention the use of her running shoes and the fact that she wrote on the bottom of her wedding shoes.  She had been following our blog and loved our style.  I told her we would LOVE to help her out. We would recreate the photos she wanted, at The Proximity Hotel where her wedding was held this past Spring.  Cool huh?

So, Kelly made arrangements with The Proximity.  They were very helpful.  Kelly got back in her dress, brought her invitation, got new flowers, got her hair and makeup redone. Mike, got back in his tux , brought the champagne and his daughter Justine, the flower girl, dressed up again.

We set the stage to get glamorous shots as well as shots with the fabulous cabs that service the hotel.  We had a great time using the architecture of the hotel to enhance the shots of Kelly & Mike.  Kelly is a runner, so we also got a great picture of her and Mike, running shoes included.

Kelly & Mike , thank you for letting us enhance your wedding photography memories.  You trusted us to create what you had hoped for originally from your first photographer.  We know you had to reinvest time and effort and expense and we were honored you chose us to make your dream a reality.    You guys were great to work with and we loved The Proximity !
